Susanne Davis is the author of two books.  The novel Gravity Hill (Madville Publishing) won Connecticut Press Club’s Best Novel and placed 2nd in Madville’s Blue Moon Literary Competition. Kirkus said of the book: “A remarkable protagonist leads a robust cast in this absorbing tale of self-discovery.” Her linked short story collection, The Appointed Hour, was published by (Cornerstone Press). Her short stories have won awards and recognition and have been published in American Short Fiction, Notre Dame Review, The Clackamas Literary Review, descant, St. Petersburg Review, and others. She is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and a lecturer at the Coast Guard Academy.
